Covid-19
Even though it doesn‘t look like it in many places right now and we‘re all looking forward to summer and being outside and seeing people, there‘s still something of a pandemic going on. We feel that we have
a certain responsibility towards the community to prevent further infections and to not let the ECMC
become a super-spreader event.
That‘s why we‘ve thought about the following things and hope that we can meet the various needs as relaxed as possible on the one hand and at least correspond to some security in the common encounters on the other. Here we go:
- We ask people who feel sick to stay at home and recover
- We will try to have as many events as possible take place outside.
- There will be enough opportunities to wash and disinfect your hands.
- We ask everyone to wear masks in the designated areas at the event and to follow the social distancing rules where possible.
- At check-in, we will ask all participants to present
a current negative test result (=PCR max. 48h old or antigen rapid test max. 24h old).
Also vaccinated and recovered! - The definitions of who is considered to have been vaccinated/recovered
with which vaccine and for how long differ considerably between individual countries. We are also aware that not everyone had/has the same opportunities to be vaccinated. That‘s why we want all participants to test themselves DAILY!
However, we can‘t control that at a city-wide event. Therefore, we appeal once again to you to test yourself to show solidarity with everybody else attending the ECMC. For some of your fellow human beings a corona infection could be more of a risk than for you. It is all the cooler if as many of us as possible make use of the local test offers.
For indoor parties we ask you to present a current negative test.
No test – no (indoor) party!
Test-Centers
Here is a list of Corona test stations in Bremen as of today. It‘s not complete. It primarily lists testing facilities close to the city center and the race course.
Maybe some of the testing points will be closed by June, so please do check on site whether the one you are headed to is open. For further information you can check the official Bremen website, too (gesundheit.bremen.de/corona/testen-und-testcenter-32720). In case of ambiguity don‘t hesitate to ask us and please do get tested. Thx!
